Customer money does not pass through Magic, data is isolated, and every agent action is logged and can be reversed.
What Magic does not do
Does not accept payment for goods.
Settlement runs through the buyer's and seller's banks.
Does not take goods onto its balance sheet.
Inventory risk stays with those who trade the goods.
Does not extend credit.
Credit limits are decided by the bank.
Does not change specifications.
Technical decisions remain with the designer.
How the agents work
- Every agent acts within the role and permissions the customer defines.
- Every action is logged with its rationale and source data.
- An agent action inside Magic can be reversed. For external steps, the log keeps the rationale and source data needed to correct them.
- Money calculations run in code with versioned rules: recalculating the same data gives the same result. The language model is kept out of the money workflow.
- The final decision, and any decision that carries material risk, is made by a person.
Data
Separation
Each customer's data is stored separately and is not shared with other customers. A request enters a pooled order without the customer's name or commercial terms.
Control
The customer controls access to its systems and can disconnect any connection. For large companies: deployment in the customer's own cloud or in a region of its choice, with single sign-on through the customer's corporate identity system.
Compliance
Security processes are being built to recognized international standards. The list of standards is published after audit.
Security package
The package is sent after an NDA is signed.
